Account info: name, email (from registration or Google sign-in). Profile: contact phone, address, profile image. Items: title, description, images, location (coordinates, city, address), category. Saved searches: search terms, category, location and radius. Messages: content of conversations between users. We also store technical data such as IP address, browser type, and cookies for session management.

2. How We Use the Information

We use this data to operate the service: displaying items, connecting users, sending email notifications when items match saved searches, tracking points for sharing items, and improving the user experience. We do not sell your information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Sharing Information with Other Users

When you publish an item, your name, contact phone (if provided), and address may be visible to users interested in the item. Messages are exchanged between users within the system. The purpose is to enable contact for arranging item pickup.

4. Storage and Retention

Data is stored on Firebase (Google) servers, in Israel or Europe. We use Firebase Auth for authentication and Firestore for the database.

5. Cookies and Session

We use cookies to maintain your login session (e.g., firebase_id_token). Without them, we cannot recognize you as a signed-in user. You can clear cookies in your browser settings, but this may log you out.

6. Your Rights

You can update your profile from your profile page. For questions about access, correction, or deletion of your data, please contact us. Upon request, we will assist with data removal as permitted by our systems and applicable law.

7. Security

We use secure connections (HTTPS) and standard measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure – please keep your password confidential and do not share login credentials.

8. Minors

The service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on the site; we recommend reviewing it periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
